Veterans Healing farm becomes feature for ECO’s 7th Annual Green Home and Edible Gardens Tour

Gina Malone from BlueRidgenow.com writes feature story on John Mashie and his VeternsHealing Farm, one of the homes on the GHG tour.

Gina hits the nail on the head by stating, ” Veterans Healing Farm appeals to body and soul”. Located at the base of a mountain, John’s farm has it all from creeks and ponds to endless rows of hops and yummy edible gardens. As an Air Force Veteran, Mashie’s idea behind this beautiful space was to reconnect veterans to civilian life after returning home from combat.

For additional information, check out more information his website (http://veteranshealingfarm.org) then in person by attending the Green Home and Edible Garden Tour on August 9th, 2014.
